Carrier Infinity® Series Heating & Cooling Systems
Carrier Infinity® Series heating and cooling systems are the only systems in the industry that allow you to control temperature, humidity, air quality, fan speed and ventilation. An Infinity® system automatically adjusts itself to run at peak efficiency. Infinity® systems feature:
- Puron® (R410a) refrigerant— which is environmentally friendly and does not deplete the earth's ozone layer.
- Two-speed compressor in the outdoor unit— to deliver more consistent indoor temperatures while saving on utility costs.
- Carrier's exclusive Silencer System— which reduces noise from the outdoor unit to half of that produced by a typical air conditioning unit.
- Variable-speed blower in the indoor unit— to ensure consistent air flow and improve humidity control.
- Electronic ignition in the gas furnace— to provide dependable operation and reduce gas consumption.
- Two-stage gas valve in the gas furnace— to provide two heating capacities for more consistent indoor temperatures.
- Two heat exchangers in the gas furnace— to ensure efficient, reliable operation.
